Paros is fascinating on so many levels that many people love it, having experienced only one of the island’s aspects. Don’t jump to conclusions about what you like; get to know the island first and find your “own” Paros, the side that suits you best. No doubt, though, it will charm you either way! The island of Paros is renowned for its golden beaches, clear blue waters, and lively nightlife.

Antiparos is an island mostly appreciated for its otherworldly waters and sparking sea. It is impossible to resist the calling of the sea, whether on a boat, surfing, or floating on water. And once you are out on land, Antiparos offers beautiful sights, warm people, flavors, and feasts, so you can enjoy the life you deserve.

Sifnos is located in the West Cyclades in the middle of the triangle formed by Serifos, Kimolos, and Antiparos islands. Its pristine white settlements, which blend superbly with the natural environment, along with its sandy beaches, picturesque churches and monasteries, its Venetian castle and ancient towers, its ceramics, hospitality, and local feasts, create a superb, exciting, and alluring setting for every traveller.

This is the island where Greek tradition and western influence come together in a harmonious marriage. Ermoúpoli (meaning “the city of Hermes”) is the island’s capital town and has been the first important trade and industrial centre of Greece during the 19th century. Evidence of this glorious past can be seen on public buildings (the City Hall, the Customs Office, the “Apollo” theatre), neoclassical houses, and in the beautiful squares.

DEFINITELY VISIT:
Ano Syros • International Cyclades • Music Festival • Classical Music Festival

Day 6: Syros - Rinia & Delos - Mykonos

Rhinia is a small island situated southwest of Mykonos in the Cyclades archipelago. It is a hilly and fairly dry island where you can find a couple of beautiful sandy beaches. Rhinia is located next to the all-important archaeological island of Delos.

Delos is a UNESCO world heritage site, an ark of history, floating lazily on the waters of the Aegean Sea, just a few miles away from cosmopolitan Mykonos. It offers the opportunity to take a glimpse of the past glory of Greek civilization. It’s the epicenter of the Cyclades, the birthplace of the immortal Olympic gods Apollo and Artemis. It’s Delos, where light was born!
